The camera does very well in the shutter lag department — there’s none to speak of. The SD10 also excels in shot-to-shot speed. You can shoot as fast as you can compose, until the buffer memory fills up.

Performance wise, the SD14 is mediocre at best. Start up is speedy enough but there’s a slight shutter lag and the AF is quite slow too, even indicating sharp focus when on occasion it certainly was not.
